I had a table lamp that I really like because it had both the main light and a dimmer light. The main light stopped working. I tried to find a new set of lamps but did not like any of the ones I had seen, especially, since they did not have the dimmer light component. Just as I was about to settle for new lamps I really did not like my husband suggested I check if anyone does repairs on lamps. That is how I came across Lighting Shades and Repairs of Tampa Bay. I called and spoke to Gail. I ask her some questions about pricing and sent some pictures. She responded that they could fix the lamp. Her husband came early the next morning to pick up the lamp. They finished the repair so fast that I was not expecting to get it back the very next day. I would recommend this business to anyone needing a lamp repaired. The price was very reasonable. Very quick turnaround in my case. It is really great that they pick up and drop off the lamp. Thank you for extending the life of my lamp Gail and Bart.

I took two lamps over to Gail and Bart to repair. They did a wonderful job, in a short amount of time. The lamps are now working perfectly.

Gail and Bart came to our home to rewire two lovely ginger lamps that were given to us. When they finished, the lamps were polished, gleaming, and safe to use.
Shortly after they left, I noticed the lamps were a bit “wobbly.” After a hasty phone call, they turned around and returned from their long drive back to Tampa. To our relief they hadn’t driven too far.
Gail cheerfully fixed the warped bottoms of the old lamps as only seasoned professionals can. They are now steady and secure.
Bart and Gail were prompt, courteous, and friendly.
Their customers come first and the cost was reasonable. My husband and I expected to pay a great deal more, not only for their extensive expertise, but for the long distance they had to travel.

i bought a very very expensive Italian floor lamp…i loved it…but it stopped working… i called the company in italy …no help…i took it to two experinces electricians….after time and more money…they could not fix it….it sort of worked it you did not touch it……i was about to throw it away…and i went to ai and asked them if they could assist me…and i pulled up lighting shades…had a good feeling…and yes again yes BART CAME THROUGH….ordered the necessary parts and put it all together and the light come though ! i am thrilled to say the least..i loved that floor lamp….great great service…they , bart , even came and picked it up and delivered it 3 days later…the best experience i have ever had….and it works….when no one could fix it…spent hundreds of dollars for them to say well it sort of works”’. after working with lighting shades… the thousand dollar Italian lamp shines as never before……tripple first class service ….!!!
